Mask Interface Prototype
For this mask, in addition to ‘fun’ elements such as lights and a face screen, I wanted to make the mask a more tolerable accessory since many people dislike wearing them. The temperature/humidity sensor would trigger tiny fans or cooling sensations to help alleviate excessive heat or sweat (the opposite can occur in colder temperatures) and a moisture sensor ideally would suggest when to drink more water (if it detects low hydration). I added an additional fun feature, the tiny speaker, which could connect to a vocal filter on the app. For the most part, many of these elements would be customizable by app.
The following mimics what the lights on the side of the mask could look like (options to turn on and off with a button, or with the app)
